Blue Downs Outreach Programme

Blue Downs, Cape Town · Western Cape

EIK expanded into the Blue Downs community in Cape Town in 2025. Outreach programmes are in active pilot phase — delivering science shows, STEM demonstrations, and curriculum support across three partner schools: Silversands High, Fairdale No.1 and Fairdale No.2. The 2026 Autumn School enrichment programme reached 265 learners in Grades 8–10.

EIK is actively exploring whether to develop a permanent Inkcubeko-like centre in Blue Downs — the decision will be informed by pilot impact data and stakeholder appetite.
